Paris was our last trip before COVID-19 hit us all HARD back in February 2020. We flew to Paris for 3 nights (RIP Weekend Trips Abroad) and spent them at the Park Hyatt - however, our best friends stayed at the Peninsula and boy were we jealous! We decided to do a review of the Peninsula since we spent a significant amount of time on property.

The Peninsula Paris has an incredible location - just steps from the Arc de Triomphe and in the heart of the most vibrant city of the world. Stunning architecture and soaring ceilings make this lobby grander than grand. Our first time pulling up to the hotel, Max got caught in the door and the bellman sprinted to the cab to help him out. That was a sign of the great service to come.

The trip was a special birthday trip for my closest girl friend and every chance they got, they acknowledged her birthday. Apart from the customary champagne in the room, they went above and beyond for her entire stay. The housekeeping service was similarly exceptional, with turndown service trading out her boarding pass for a Peninsula custom bookmark and a glasses cleaning cloth for her readers.

The property offers one of the best restaurants, L'Oiseau Blanc, in Paris with stunning views of the Eiffel tower. We had the opportunity to dine at the rooftop restaurant and had the most impeccable meal of our stay in Paris. Our friends books on American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts, which includes complimentary breakfast for two and $100 property credit. The breakfast brunch is beautifully done, with all the flaky pastries one can imagine. AmEx fine hotels is a great option and comes with an AmEx platinum - sign up here: http://refer.amex.us/MARENE4vkp?XLINK=MYCP

Overall, the property itself is excellent, the amenities are world-class and they do a great job representing the creme-de-la-creme of Peninsula hotels.

Here's what you'll learn:

From the white-gloved bellman to the teeny-tiny details in the housekeeping, the Peninsula will surely not disappoint even the most discerning traveler. We look forward to the day we can return to be guests at this gorgeous property.
